Shawsville Elementary School is located in the city of Elliston. Shawsville Elementary teaches approximately 260 children ranging from Kindergarten through fifth grade, and they heavily emphasize the importance of developing the reading skills of their students.

I'm a junior majoring in biology. I plan on graduating with my BS in spring 2008, and then getting my masters in education, also at Virginia Tech. I enjoy science and working with children so I plan on combining the two and becoming a science teacher for upper level education, grades 6th-12th.
