Sites and Directions
Site Listservs:
To help facilitate communication between Site Leaders and tutors, listservs have been created for each site. Tutors are responsible for adding themselves to each site listserv at which they tutor. Failure to do so is not an excuse for missing pertinent information! Listserv names, which you will need in order to sign up, are listed on each site's page. Once you have requested to be added to a listserv, be allow 2-3 business days so that the listserv administrators may approve your request. Any questions and/or technical difficults should be brought to the attention of a Site Leader and/or Coordinator immediately.
To sign up for a listserv, compose and send an email using webmail or prefered email client to listserv@listserv@vt.edu. The body of the message should read as follows:
subscribe [List Name] [Your First Name] [Your Last Name]
For example, to sign up for the Margaret Beeks listserv, the email message to listserv@listserv.vt.edu should read:
subscribe margaret_beeks@listserv.vt.edu John Doe
